MADRID ARRIVE IN DUBLIN

Sportsmarketing.ie will have access to Spanish football giants Real Madrid who will arrive in Ireland today for a pre-season training camp thanks to Platinum One.

The club is due to fly into Dublin Airport this evening for the 10-day session that will include a sell-out friendly game against Shamrock Rovers.

Expectations are high that the world’s most expensive player Cristiano Ronaldo could make his debut for the club in the game at Tallaght Stadium.

The 24-year-old superstar transferred to the Spanish side at the beginning of the month from Manchester United in a record £80 million deal.

The squad will stay and train at Carton House in Co Kildare throughout the trip.

Real will play Shamrock Rovers at their south Dublin stadium in Tallaght this day week in a sell-out game, with fans hoping to see footballing legends such as Ronaldo, Raul, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Guti.

Security is expected to be tight at Dublin Airport when the squad arrive.

The first training session will take place tomorrow morning.
