SPORTSMARKETING.IE has learned that former Superquinn boss Feargal Quinn is now the owner of the lucrative Indian cricket rights, previously covered by SPORTSMARKETING.IE. Quinn is a backer of Promethean India, now called Elephant Capital which last week spent almost €10 million buying a stake in Global Cricket Ventures, which holds digital and mobile rights to the massive popular Indian Premier League Cricket.
