Sports Marketing .ie was set up by Conor Dunne and Dave Power. Conor and Dave are also the current Directors of sports marketing .ie.

Conor is a native of Co. Wexford who qualified with an Honours BA in Marketing from Waterford Institute of Technology. Conor is also a graduate of the Michael Smurfit Business Graduate Business School with a MSc in Marketing Practice and currently works as a Marketing Executive with Chill.ie, an online insurance company based in Blackrock.

Conor has a keen interest in sports marketing, having conducted studies with Setanta Sports and Sky as well as conducting an Economic Impact Study for the IRFU for the Ireland vs. England game in 2008. Conor has also designed and currently runs the website http://www.ratemycourse.com which allows golfers in ireland to rate golf courses that they have played.

Dave Power is native of Dublin, having graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a BSc in Business Management.  Dave graduated from the Michael Smurfit Business Graduate Business School with a MSc in Marketing Practice and currently works as a Digital Marketing Executive with Radical, a digital marketing agency who are based in Dublin

Dave is an experienced sports marketing scholar, having spent a year studying Sports Marketing Seton Hall, New Jersey. Dave has also conducted sports marketing projects about the GAA re-branding initiative. Dave has also been involved with establishing the brand values of A1 Team Ireland, the A1 GP World Champions 2009.

Dave has further experience with A1 Team Ireland having conducted an online marketing strategy for them establishing a community of fans of over 1,500 people.
